BOSSIER PARISH, LA – The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced a new online service for parish residents to access and pay their property tax notices. This initiative provides a streamlined and convenient way for taxpayers to manage their responsibilities from home or on the go.
“We’re excited to offer this digital option to make it easier for our residents to stay up to date with their tax responsibilities,” said Sheriff Julian Whittington. “Whether you prefer to use your computer or mobile device, this service ensures a more efficient and secure way to manage your tax notices and payments.”
How to Access and Pay Tax Notices
Residents can view and pay their tax notices through two primary digital platforms:
- Website: Visit www.bossiersheriff.com and click on the “Pay Taxes” tab. Users can view, print, and pay their tax bills online.
- Mobile App: Download the Bossier Sheriff mobile app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The app’s “Pay Taxes” section provides easy access to tax notices and payment options.
Additional Payment Options
While digital options offer a fast and secure way to manage tax payments, residents may still pay taxes in person at the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office or by traditional mail when tax notices are distributed.
Avoid Late Fees
The Sheriff’s Office urges residents to review their tax notices promptly to avoid late fees. Payment deadlines and other important details are available online. For assistance, residents can contact the Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-3400.
“This digital service underscores our commitment to providing modern, accessible solutions for our community,” Sheriff Whittington added.
