BOSSIER CITY, La. — The Bossier City-Parish Metropolitan Planning Commission will host a free workshop Aug. 26 aimed at helping entrepreneurs and existing business owners navigate local zoning, permitting and development requirements.
The Business Made Easier Workshop will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Bossier Central Library, 7204 Hutchison Drive in Bossier City.
The session will cover zoning requirements, permits and approvals, the development process and resources available to businesses. It is intended for people considering starting a business as well as current business owners looking to grow or develop their operations in Bossier City.
Representatives from local permitting, fire prevention, water and tax offices are expected to participate. Representatives from AEP SWEPCO, the Health Department and the Bossier Chamber of Commerce also will be available to answer questions and provide guidance.
The workshop is free, but registration is requested.
