BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — Barksdale Air Force Base is kicking off a two-day career development event today in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes program. Taking place June 25–26 at the BUFF Event Center, the event is designed to support transitioning service members, military spouses, veterans, and caregivers of wounded warriors.
The event begins today with Amplify, a full-day intensive workshop focused on empowering military spouses through career development, personal branding, and strategic networking.
Tomorrow, June 26, the event continues with a Career Summit and Hiring Fair, featuring:
- One-on-one networking with employers actively hiring
- Resume preparation sessions
- LinkedIn profile workshops
- Complimentary professional headshots
- Information on SkillBridge and fellowship programs
- Industry panel discussions
