Shreveport, LA – Bally’s Shreveport Casino & Hotel is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a year-long commitment to community engagement, kicking off with a $2,500 donation to Purchased: Not for Sale, a local nonprofit fighting human trafficking. The donation aligns with Human Trafficking Awareness Month and supports the organization’s mission of rescue, relationship, recovery, and resources for women and children affected by sexual exploitation.
“As we kick off our 25th Anniversary Celebration at Bally’s Shreveport Casino & Hotel, we’re proud to partner with Purchased: Not for Sale this month to give back to our incredible community,” said Tony Rohrer, Vice President and General Manager of Bally’s Shreveport Casino & Hotel. “Together, we can make a difference.”
In addition to financial support, Bally’s hosted an awareness meeting where 60 team members participated in volunteer opportunities to learn more about human trafficking and ways to support victims. The initiative reinforces the casino’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and encourages employees to actively contribute to local causes.
A Year-Long Commitment to Community Engagement
Bally’s plans to expand its charitable outreach throughout the year, partnering with various nonprofits and supporting causes that impact the Shreveport-Bossier community. The casino will roll out additional initiatives, events, and donation efforts as part of its quarter-century milestone celebration.
