by BIZ Magazine

What the employees have to say:

“The thing that I most like about working at Community Bank of Louisiana is the feel of family pitching in to help each other with anything that we can help each other with. I have worked for Community Bank of Louisiana for 1g years.” — Denica McIntyre, Branch Manager, Downtown Shreveport Office

“While my time at Community Bank of Louisiana has not been as long as many of our other Assistant Branch Managers, I am near completing my 6th year of service.  During this time I have had the opportunity to work at the Fairfield office and build many lasting relationships with both customers and other employees.  Community Bank is truly a community based company that cares for people, their staff and other organizations.  I have seen this first hand and have had the privilege of participating in several local events.  Whether that be a luncheon to inspire women in the workforce, giving back in a charitable donation or recognizing our local law enforcement, I can whole heartedly say that Community Bank Of Louisiana definitely sets itself apart. I am proud to be a part of this company and look forward to our continued success.” — Virginia Williams, Asst. Branch Manager, Fairfield Office

“I love working at Community Bank of Louisiana because we are treated like family not just an employee. We are made to feel valued and get the support we need to help our customers and to be the best we can be. I have been with Community Bank since  April 15, 2005.” — Brenda Schieffler, Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager, Bert Kouns Office

“Working for Community Bank of Louisiana means more to me than just a job. We are a big work family and are always there for one another. I love my job, co-workers and customers. Our customers make our job fun and we look forward to seeing them walk thru our lobby doors. After being employed 14 years now, I couldn’t imagine having a better place to work.” — Angela Martinez, Assistant Cashier/Branch Manager, Walker Road Office

“I’ve been at Community Bank of Louisiana for 16 years, I started as a teller in high school and worked my up to Branch Manager in 2017. There are many opportunities to grow within the bank. When you work in the branches, you learn everything from deposits, new accounts, loans, etc. CBLA builds their employees for success and we have quick advancement opportunities.” — Madison Odenbaugh, Assistant Cashier/Branch Manager, South Bossier Office

“Community Bank of Louisiana is an amazing place to work!  In 24 years of working for CBLA I’ve witnessed many employees promoted from within giving them the opportunity to grow in their career.  Along with excellent benefits, our management team allows for a good work/life balance and caring atmosphere.  I feel very lucky to be part of this Community Bank family.” — Nicki Duncan, Vice President, Branch Manager-Benton Road Office

“I have been in Banking for over 50 years and with Community Bank of Louisiana for almost ten years. It is one of the finest banks I have every worked with.  All of our Branch Managers and Assistant Managers have all been promoted from within the bank except one. If you work hard, you will be rewarded.  Over the time I have been a part of the Community Bank of Louisiana family I have experienced Senior Staff and employees stepping up and supporting several of our employees when the have suffered catastrophic events in their lives. Whether the event is big  or small, we are there for them. When you work for an employer that takes care of their employees, goes the extra mile, works together and gives back to their community, it is the place anyone would be proud to work at. A true Community Bank!” — Sandy Cimino, Senior Vice President – Business Development

“”We are honored to once again be selected as a recipient of the Biz. Magazine Best Places to Work award winners.  It is a testament to the family-first culture we have strived to maintain.” — Jayce Simpson, president and CEO
