SHREVEPORT, LA – The Robinson Film Center’s Abby Singer’s Bistro will unveil its new menu on January 7, 2025, featuring a creative blend of updated classics, Louisiana favorites, upscale dishes, and Afro-Caribbean specialties. The menu has been curated by Chefs Niema and Matthew DiGrazia, who joined the bistro in August 2024.
“We were very selective in bringing on Chef Niema and Chef Matthew,” said Wendell Riley, Executive Director of the Robinson Film Center. “They’ve spent months experimenting with new dishes and fine-tuning both front and back of house operations. Now, we’re ready to go in 2025.”
The new menu is part of a broader transformation dubbed “The Abby Singer’s Experience,” which began with a front-of-house renovation completed in early 2024. The chefs’ arrival marked the final phase of the bistro’s revitalization.
“I’m so excited to lead the bistro team in this new phase,” said Niema DiGrazia, Executive Chef at Abby Singer’s Bistro. “Abby’s has had some great leadership over the years, but we want to put our own spin on it, reflecting both of our heritages—Louisiana, West Africa, and the Caribbean. The Robinson Film Center is a unique place, and we want to honor that by making Abby Singer’s a premier food destination, not just downtown but in the region.”
