SHREVEPORT, La. — Geek’d Con, a comic and pop culture convention in North Louisiana, is scheduled to return to downtown Shreveport from Aug. 14 through Aug. 16 at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Organizers said the three-day event typically draws more than 10,000 attendees, with some years exceeding 20,000. The convention brings visitors from across the country and generates millions of dollars in economic impact for the Shreveport-Bossier area, with attendees and vendors traveling from multiple states.
The 2026 event will feature a lineup of celebrity guests from film, television and music. Confirmed appearances include David Arquette, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Shannon Elizabeth, Chris Fehn, David Yost, Walter Jones, Summer Glau, Kristin Bauer and Marvin Jones III.
A featured attraction this year is the “Gathering of the Ghostface,” marking the 30th anniversary of the 1996 film “Scream.” Organizers said the event will include multiple actors who have portrayed the Ghostface character across the franchise and related films.
Geek’d Con will also include more than 200 vendor booths, along with gaming areas, cosplay contests, celebrity panels and autograph sessions.
Tickets are currently available for purchase through the official Geek’d Con ticketing site. Vendor registration remains open, with additional details available at the Shreveport Geeks website.
Founded in 2015, Geek’d Con has grown into one of the largest pop culture events in the Ark-La-Tex region, drawing a national audience and supporting local tourism and business activity. More information is available at the Geek’d Con website.
