SHREVEPORT, La. — The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a job fair March 28 to recruit candidates for multiple positions within its Detention Bureau.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Caddo Correctional Center, located at 1101 Forum Drive. Officials said the hiring effort is aimed at filling several roles critical to detention operations.
Open positions include corrections deputies, food service technicians, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and part-time drivers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with department representatives, learn about job responsibilities and explore career paths within the Sheriff’s Office.
“We are looking for individuals who are committed to serving their community and making a difference,” said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. “This job fair is a great opportunity to connect with our team and take the first step toward a meaningful and rewarding career.”
Applicants are encouraged to bring resumes and be prepared to discuss their qualifications during the event.
The job fair is part of ongoing recruitment efforts to support staffing needs at the parish’s detention facilities.
