BOSSIER CITY, La. — The Bossier Chamber of Commerce is calling on its membership to recognize standout businesses and business leaders who made a significant impact in 2024. In preparation for its 77th Annual Meeting, scheduled for February 11, 2025, at Horseshoe Casino & Hotel, the Chamber has opened nominations for the coveted Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year awards.
Each year, the Bossier Chamber’s Annual Meeting celebrates the achievements of local businesses and individuals who have demonstrated excellence in growth, innovation, or impact. Lisa Johnson, President and CEO of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce, is encouraging members to take part in honoring these successes.
“Each year, I ask our membership which businesses and businesspeople stood out for their accomplishments, growth, or innovation during the year so that we can celebrate their successes at the Bossier Chamber’s Annual Meeting,” Johnson said.
She continued, “When you look back at 2024, what business or businessperson made the greatest impact? Don’t forget about your favorite small businesses, too.”

An Evening of Celebration and Networking
The Annual Meeting, one of the region’s largest networking events, kicks off with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by the formal program at 6:30 p.m. The event serves as a platform for the Chamber to reflect on the accomplishments of 2024 while setting the stage for another year of growth and opportunity.
“As we celebrate the successes of 2024, we will ‘let the good times roll’ into another great year in 2025,” Johnson added. “You won’t want to miss out on the largest networking event of the year!”
