Starting January 10, 2025, deputies with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office will see a 4% pay increase, following approval by Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. earlier this week.
The pay raise applies to all deputies in both the operations and detention bureaus.
“We recognize the hard work our deputies put in daily,” said Sheriff Whitehorn. “This pay raise reflects our appreciation for their vital role in ensuring the safety of the citizens of Caddo Parish. Our deputies face risks every day, and they deserve not only this increase in pay but also our heartfelt gratitude for their dedicated service.”
Sheriff Whitehorn noted that the salary increases were made possible by rolling forward property taxes, which will take effect in January.
