SHREVEPORT, La. — Holy Angels will host the 44th Annual TASTE: A Festival of Food and Art on Nov. 6 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center. The annual celebration will feature culinary tastings, local art, live music, and dancing, all benefiting Holy Angels’ mission to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Tickets are $100 per person and include tastings from more than 30 local restaurant vendors, Holy Angels’ signature lasagna, Howdy Homemade gourmet ice cream, complimentary drinks from the Bubble Bar, and live entertainment by Rouge Krewe. The evening will also include special performances by the Holy Angels Choir and winners of the organization’s Talent Show.
Guests can participate in a silent auction featuring more than 100 items from AngelWorks and local donors, including original artwork by Holy Angels residents, jewelry, gifts, and travel experiences. Attendees will be able to preview auction items online and meet the resident artists during the event.
Established in 1981, TASTE has grown into one of Shreveport’s most anticipated community events, drawing more than 1,500 attendees each year.
Proceeds from the event support Holy Angels’ programs, which include job training, day activities, therapy, education, and residential services designed to promote independence and fulfillment.
