SHREVEPORT, La. — The Shreveport Aquarium has transformed into a pirate haven for the Halloween season with Mutiny: A Pirate Adventure, running through Oct. 31. The interactive experience invites visitors to join a pirate crew and explore the aquarium’s exhibits through themed activities and encounters.
Guests can learn pirate skills, hunt for treasure, and discover a variety of sea creatures while navigating through settings such as Sea Monster Alley and a creaky bridge. The adventure includes appearances by Captain Bones, who greets visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Halloween from 1 to 4 p.m.
Regular admission prices apply, with the option to purchase a Mutiny pirate passport for $3 online or at the door. Participants who complete all tasks listed in the passport can redeem a code for a bag of loot from Captain Bones’ treasure chest, including a faux leather pouch filled with candy, doubloons, and gems.
Admission prices are $16.95 for ages 2–12 and $19.95 for ages 13 and up. Children under 2 and aquarium members receive free entry. Tickets at the door cost $2 more.
Pirate attire is encouraged, and the experience is designed for children of all ages. Additional details, including hours of operation, are available at www.shreveportaquarium.com.
