$400,000 in Matching Funds Available to Boost Tourism Promotion Statewide
Baton Rouge, La. — The Louisiana Office of Tourism, in partnership with Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser, has officially opened the application period for the FY2026 Cooperative Marketing Program (CMP), which provides matching grants of up to $10,000 to help promote tourism across the state.
A total of $400,000 has been allocated for this cycle, and funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible applicants include Louisiana-based convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs), tourist commissions, destination management organizations, and political subdivisions authorized to promote tourism within their jurisdictions.
“The Cooperative Marketing Program is an exceptional opportunity to strengthen marketing efforts and increase the number of visitors not only attending each event, but also traveling into the state,” said Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser. “With more than 400 fairs and festivals around the state and countless attractions, I’m proud that we can continue to help our CVBs promote their areas.”
The CMP provides a 50% reimbursement match for the placement of eligible media, with funding distributed on a reimbursement basis. Funds are intended to enhance marketing reach and drive greater visitation to Louisiana events, attractions, and destinations.
