Shreveport, LA – Travelers in the Ark-La-Tex region will soon have a direct route to the vibrant city of Nashville. Beginning May 22, 2025, Allegiant will offer twice-weekly nonstop flights from Shreveport Regional Airport to Nashville International Airport (BNA). This marks the first-ever nonstop connection between the two cities in the airport’s 72-year history.
The flights, which will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, will be available through August 17, 2025. To celebrate, Allegiant is offering one-way fares starting at $44.50. Tickets are on sale now at Allegiant.com.
Enhancing Shreveport’s Connectivity
“We are thrilled to add Nashville to our list of destinations,” said Larry Blackwell, Director of Airports for the Shreveport Airport Authority. “Nashville is one of our most requested cities, and this new service aligns with our mission to provide more travel options and enhance the passenger experience with ongoing improvements at the airport.”
The new route is supported by the Ark-La-Tex Regional Air Service Alliance (RASA), a group dedicated to expanding air service at Shreveport Regional. RASA has been instrumental in securing nonstop flights to other major destinations, including Denver, Charlotte, Destin, and Los Angeles.
“Our partnership with Allegiant is a testament to our commitment to improving air travel options for the region,” said Tim Wilhite, President of the RASA Board of Directors. “This route not only benefits local residents but also brings new visitors to explore everything the Ark-La-Tex has to offer.”
Part of Allegiant’s Nationwide Expansion
The Shreveport-Nashville route is one of 44 new nonstop routes announced by Allegiant as part of its nationwide expansion. The airline is adding new connections across 51 cities, with fares as low as $49 on select routes.
