Looking Ahead
“Several states saw gas prices jump or ‘cycle’ last week, but the good news is that those states may experience significant declines this week,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “This could push the national average below $3 per gallon just in time for Thanksgiving.”
With 28 states already averaging below $3 per gallon, holiday travelers could benefit from continued declines, helping to ease travel costs during one of the busiest times of the year.
