BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – Barksdale Air Force Base has announced the return of its highly anticipated Defenders of Liberty Air Show, scheduled for March 29-30, 2025. The two-day event is free and open to the public, offering an unforgettable experience for aviation enthusiasts of all ages.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the event, showcasing their world-renowned aerial precision. The air show will also feature thrilling military demonstrations, including performances by the C-17 Globemaster III, KC-135 Stratotanker, and the first-ever KC-46 Pegasus demonstration. Complementing the military displays will be an impressive lineup of civilian acts, including Randy Ball, the Red Bull Air Force, and the exhilarating Smoke N’ Thunder Jet Truck.
In addition to the aerial performances, attendees can explore static aircraft displays, interactive STEM exhibits, food concessions, and family-friendly activities, making it a perfect outing for all.
