This marks an 8.3-cent increase compared to a month ago but remains 3.4 cents lower than the same period last year.
Nationally, diesel prices have risen by 1.5 cents over the past week, now averaging $3.488 per gallon.

Within Shreveport, the cheapest station was reported at $2.37 per gallon, while the most expensive reached $2.76 per gallon—a difference of 39 cents. Across Louisiana, the lowest price recorded yesterday was $2.35 per gallon, and the highest was $3.28, a variance of 93 cents.
