BOSSIER CITY, La. — Chick-fil-A will open a new Bossier City restaurant next week, adding more than 100 jobs as the restaurant chain expands its presence in the city.
The new restaurant, located at 2968 E. Texas Ave., will open Thursday, Oct. 29, at 6 a.m. It will be operated by Stephanie Hoover, who was selected by Chick-fil-A as the location’s local owner-operator.
The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery and catering service, along with the company’s Mobile Thru ordering option. Regular hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Hoover began working for Chick-fil-A as a high school student 19 years ago and continued with the company after college. She later participated in Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program before pursuing an opportunity to become an owner-operator.
“Bossier City is a community that reflects the values of hard work, dedication and service, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make it home,” Hoover said in announcing the opening.
The company said the new restaurant will create more than 100 jobs.
Chick-fil-A also plans to mark the opening with a $25,000 donation to the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana to support hunger relief efforts in the region. The restaurant will participate in the company’s Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofit organizations.
The East Texas Avenue restaurant adds another Chick-fil-A location in Bossier City. The chain also operates a restaurant at 2601 Beene Blvd. near Airline Drive and Interstate 220.
As part of its opening-day promotion, customers who visit the new restaurant wearing cow-themed attire will be eligible for a free entrée or children’s meal while supplies last.
Chick-fil-A operates more than 3,000 restaurants in the United States and several international markets.
