Celebrating Northwest Louisiana’s Rising Stars in Business and Community
Shreveport, LA – The search is on for Northwest Louisiana’s most promising young leaders as nominations for the 2024 40 Under Forty Awards are now officially open. This prestigious annual event recognizes outstanding individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and community impact across various sectors.
From now until Friday, May 10 at 5 p.m., the community is invited to submit nominations for deserving candidates who exemplify the criteria for the 40 Under Forty distinction. Eligible nominees must be under 40 years of age as of July 31, 2024, and must reside and work in Northwest Louisiana. They should have demonstrated significant contributions to their company or community and show potential for future leadership in business, politics, or community endeavors.
Nominations can be submitted online at the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce website. The selection process will consider factors such as achievement, experience, innovation, vision, leadership, and community involvement. It’s an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the individuals who are driving positive change and making a difference in our region.
The 40 Under Forty Awards Gala, now in its 18th year, will be the culminating event where winners will be celebrated and recognized for their achievements. The gala is set to take place on Friday, December 6 at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino at 6:30 p.m. It promises to be an evening of inspiration and celebration as the community comes together to honor the next generation of leaders shaping the future of Northwest Louisiana.
The 40 Under Forty initiative is part of the Young Professionals Initiative of North Louisiana (YPI), an organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young leaders in the region. Through networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, YPI aims to attract and retain talented young professionals, driving economic development and innovation in Northwest Louisiana.
