It starts with appetizers, full buffet sit down dinner, munches when the dancing starts and a full breakfast at the end of the night.During the night employees are recognized for outstanding achievements, games with prizes, entertainment, and dancing with a full band. It is always at a hotel so employees can get discounted rooms if they plan to stay the night and babysitting for employees’ children.
Employees can receive day off incentives, cash or prizes when cross-selling products and achieving goals, as well as a Christmas bonus.
Community Bank is supportive of our employees through sickness whether it is the employee or a family member.
We are a very strong bank, supporting the various organizations and communities in our four parishes. We answer our telephones, no answering machines.
Our management is very conscientious of our bottom line, the cost of doing business and taking care of our customers. All of our Managers and Assistant Managers, except for two were promoted from within the bank. We cross-train our employees and encourage advancement.
Community Bank of Louisiana is the type of bank people want to work at and our goal is to take care of our employees and customers.
What the employees have to say:
“I have been in Banking for over 52 years and with Community Bank of Louisiana for a little over ten years. It is one of the finest banks I have every worked with. All of our Branch Managers and Assistant Managers have all been promoted from within the bank except for two. If you work hard, you will be rewarded. Over the time I have been a part of the Community Bank of Louisiana family I have experienced Senior Staff and employees stepping up and supporting several of our employees when the have suffered catastrophic events in their lives. Whether the event is big or small, we are there for them. When you work for an employer that takes care of their employees, goes the extra mile, works together and gives back to their community, it is the place anyone would be proud to work at. A true Community Bank!” – Sandy Cimino, Senior Vice President – Business Development
“Community Bank of Louisiana is a family owned and operated institution with significant roots in the communities we are blessed to serve in. We have local leadership and a local Board of Directors that see the fruits of their labor every day they come to work. Those leaders empower the staff to provide that community banking difference each day with that motivation in mind. This creates an environment in the workplace where we are more than just coworkers that see each other from 8-5 Monday thru Friday. We serve the community together, we sit at dusty ball fields together, we worship together, and our kids grow up together. I’ve been at Community Bank of Louisiana since August 23, 2021.” – Connor Hennessey, Property Manager
“I started at the bank 15 years ago. From a teller to a branch manager Community Bank has given me the opportunity to pursue my banking career. With paid time off and holiday pay, it gives me and my family more time to travel and make memories.
Over the years I have met a lot of clients and made many new friends. I’m so thankful for them because it makes my job enjoyable. I couldn’t be happier anywhere else.” – Angela Martinez, Branch Manager/Assistant Cashier
“The thing that I most like about working at Community Bank of Louisiana is the feel of family pitching in to help each other with anything that we can help each other with. I have worked for Community Bank of Louisiana for 12 years.” – Denica McIntyre, Branch Manager, Downtown Shreveport Office
“While my time at Community Bank of Louisiana has not been as long as many of our other Assistant Branch Managers, I am near completing my 6th year of service. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work at the Fairfield office and build many lasting relationships with both customers and other employees. Community Bank is truly a community based company that cares for people, their staff and other organizations. I have seen this first hand and have had the privilege of participating in several local events. Whether that be a luncheon to inspire women in the workforce, giving back in a charitable donation or recognizing our local law enforcement, I can whole heartedly say that Community Bank of Louisiana definitely sets itself apart. I am proud to be a part of this company and look forward to our continued success.” — Virginia Williams, Asst. Branch Manager, Fairfield Office
“What I love most about my job is the sense of family around our workplace. I love our team, so it’s easy coming to work every day! I feel respected and valued for everything that I bring to the branch. I’m always learning and taking on new challenges that each day may bring. My job has a lot of variety, so it’s never boring. Also, being able to get to know our customers and helping them with whatever banking needs they may have is honestly so rewarding. I’ve definitely made some lifelong friends working here!” – Sara McKnight Senior Teller, Teller Trainer
