The Greater Shreveport Chamber hosted this year’s J. Pat Beaird Industry of the Year Awards Luncheon, with the support of the J. Pat Beaird Memorial Fund.
“The Querbes & Nelson families have been a fixture in Shreveport for generations, and together they have been stalwart members of the business community for over a century,” said Dr. Timothy Magner, President of the Greater Shreveport Chamber.
For more than 100 years, Querbes & Nelson has made its home in an historic building in downtown Shreveport. As much as the Ark-La-Tex area has changed, and throughout the challenges facing business and families through the pandemic and more, one thing has remained constant, Querbes & Nelson and their commitment to our community. Since 1914, they have served the needs of a varied clientele, providing tailor-made insurance and risk management solutions for the business and personal needs of those in our community and beyond. And since 1925, they have been a member of the Greater Shreveport Chamber, one of the oldest and longest serving members of the Chamber.
Querbes & Nelson experienced continued business growth, worked hard to build a trusted relationship in Shreveport and strive to make consumers feel both comfortable and confident. Their Chamber membership speaks to their commitment, involvement, and leadership in the business community. The J. Pat Beaird Memorial Industry of the Year award pays tribute to the memory of J. Pat Beaird, who devoted his life to community service, and helped make Shreveport and the State of Louisiana a more wonderful place to live and work.
