For more than 45 years, the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce has been identifying and preparing future community leaders through its Leadership Program.
The program expands the leadership abilities of participants through educational programs, exposure to existing leadership and civic organizations, and in-depth discussions of relevant issues. It also provides a channel for participants to gain access to leadership opportunities and to become involved in the development of solutions for community challenges. Participants meet monthly from February to November and travel as a group to various locations throughout the community as well as to the Louisiana Legislature to witness the legislative process in action.
