Swearing-In Ceremony for Newly Hired Deputies

Bossier City, LA – Sheriff Julian Whittington recently administered the Oath of Affirmation to two new deputies during a swearing-in ceremony at the Bossier Parish Courthouse.

The ceremony, held in the Sheriff’s Conference Room on Monday morning, welcomed Deputies Jerry Franks and Gavin Muller to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office (BSO). Sheriff Whittington expressed his pride in their commitment, saying, “I commend you for joining a great team and welcome you to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.”

Both deputies will begin their careers at one of the BSO correctional facilities.

In addition to the new deputies, Emily Owens was welcomed to BSO as a new clerical employee.
