The Port of Caddo-Bossier hosted a job fair for its tenants looking to fill open positions. The job fair took place on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Port’s Regional Commerce Center, located at 6000 Doug Attaway Boulevard.

“I think today’s job fair is a great success with an awesome turnout. We have several positions that we are looking to fill, everything from maintenance, manufacturing, management, production, and so on. This is one of the greatest turnouts I’ve ever seen,” said Angie Sepulvado, Ronpak HR generalist.

Hiring representatives from at least seven Port tenants were on hand trying to fill dozens of open positions. Participating tenants included:

  • Benteler
  • Heirloom
  • Morris & Dickson
  • OMNI
  • Ronpak
  • Sports South
  • Ternium

The 4,000-acre Port of Caddo-Bossier is located at the head of navigation on the Red River Waterway in Northwest Louisiana. An inland multi-modal transportation and distribution center, the Port works hand in hand with the port system of Louisiana to successfully link customers throughout the Ark-La-Tex region to domestic and international markets via the Mississippi River, the nation’s largest river system, and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.
