The air was charged with excitement at the Shreveport Gun Club as clay shooting aficionados gathered for the eagerly anticipated “SHOOT HAPPENS!” 4th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament, presented by the Greater Shreveport Chamber. On Saturday, May 4th, 2024, participants converged for a day of thrills, skills, and a touch of Jedi magic in celebration of Star Wars Day.
Enthusiastic competitors, ranging from seasoned marksmen to first-time shooters, took on the challenge of the course, navigating through intricate layouts and testing their aim against airborne clay targets. Embracing the spirit of Star Wars, participants tapped into their inner Jedi, honing their focus and precision to tackle surprise targets strategically placed throughout the course in the Death Star Demolition Derby. Laughter and cheers reverberated across the grounds as participants relished the exhilaration of the sport.
