Bossier Parish Community College Shuts Down Campuses Amidst Weather Concerns

by BIZ Magazine

In response to the impending threat of flash flooding and hazardous road conditions across north Louisiana, Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) has made the decision to close all of its campuses on Wednesday, April 10th. The closure affects BPCC locations in Bossier, Natchitoches, and Many.

The announcement comes after a thorough review of current road conditions and forecasts for the region. With safety as the top priority, BPCC administrators have opted to close the campuses to ensure the well-being of students, faculty, and staff.

While physical campuses will be closed, employees will continue their duties remotely. Additionally, virtual classes will proceed as scheduled, ensuring that students can continue their academic pursuits without disruption. Student services will also be available virtually to provide necessary support and assistance.

BPCC administrators are actively monitoring the weather situation and will provide updates as needed. Information regarding campus closures and any further developments will be communicated through various channels, including the BPCC website, social media platforms, and the Cavs Alert System.
