by BIZ Magazine

Following the triumphant debut of its inaugural edition in 2023, the highly anticipated 2nd Annual 318 Day Festival is slated to return on March 16th, 2024, promising an even grander celebration of the diverse cultural heritage of Northwest Louisiana.

Last year’s festival drew over 700 enthusiastic attendees who gathered to immerse themselves in the vibrant tapestry of local artistry, culinary delights, and musical performances, all emblematic of the spirit of Shreveport and the surrounding region. Building on this success, this year’s festival will feature an expanded lineup of activities, including a much-anticipated fashion show headlined by the internationally renowned Designer Tasha.

Designer Tasha, a seasoned fashion designer and stylist known for her appearance on Project Runway Season 15, brings her unique blend of style, passion, and philanthropy to the festival. With a portfolio boasting over 100 magazine publications, blogs, and television appearances, Designer Tasha’s designs have graced celebrities such as Ye & Sunday Service Choir, Laverne Cox, and Wendy R. Robinson. Inspired by music, scriptwriting, and her loved ones, her creations epitomize elegance and innovation.

In addition to the fashion show, attendees can look forward to a stellar musical lineup featuring acclaimed artists such as Edi Kí, Tree Fiddy Trio, Native to the Parish, The Woodlawn High School Marching Band, and DJ Breeze, with more artists set to be announced soon. The festival grounds will also be teeming with a diverse array of local vendors and an Artist Row, providing a platform for the community’s burgeoning artistic talent to shine.

The 2nd Annual 318 Day Festival will be open to the public and will take place at Caddo Common Park on March 16th, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
