Shreveport Airport Authority Gathers for Important Discussions in Upcoming Meeting

The Shreveport Airport Authority is set to convene for its Regular Meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the airport conference room on the third floor of Shreveport Regional Airport, situated at 5103 Hollywood Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana.

The agenda for the meeting promises to address several critical matters pertinent to the operations and development of both Downtown Airport and Regional Airport. Among the key items slated for discussion are lease agreements, resolutions, and supplemental task agreements that will shape the future trajectory of airport activities.

On the Downtown Airport front, the Authority will consider requests from Kairos Aerospace and Southern University of Shreveport for lease agreements pertaining to office space and hangar facilities, respectively. Additionally, discussions will revolve around the adoption of a resolution authorizing the Chairman to execute a Louisiana Department of Transportation Aviation Division Sponsor/State Agreement for Northwest Apron – Phase I.

Meanwhile, Regional Airport matters will include the approval of change orders, ground lease agreements, and supplemental task agreements with engineering firms for various construction and design services aimed at enhancing airport infrastructure and facilities.

The meeting will also feature routine communications, including reports from the Chairman, Board Members, and the Airport Director, encompassing project updates, business and finance reports, and marketing initiatives.
