While the Chamber does not take a position on candidates for office, we believe that an informed and educated electorate is vital to the robust exercise of our democracy.  As such, each election cycle the Chamber undertakes our Election Education Initiative which includes candidate video interviews and enables our member businesses and the voting public to base their voting decisions on information provided directly from the candidates.

Your Chamber invited candidates running for public office to answer a standard set of questions for the purpose of informing the public on where each candidate stands on the issues of importance to the members of the Chamber and the voting public.

All candidates for Governor of Louisiana, Caddo Sheriff, State Senate Districts 31,36, 38 and 39, State Representative Districts 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 and Caddo Commissioner who are running opposed were invited to participate. Candidates without video interviews declined to or were unable to participate.
