North PAC, a political action committee of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), announced the endorsement of State Representative Thomas Pressly for Senate District 38.
“North PAC strives to ensure the business community supports candidates who understand our needs when critical legislation is considered, and impactful decisions are being made,” said North PAC Chairman Terry Baugh. “We believe Rep. Pressly is the best candidate to lead district 38 and encourage the business community to support him in this race.”
North PAC is made up of businessmen and businesswomen seeking to support electable candidates who embrace free-market principles and stand ready to implement real reforms to grow our economy and keep our families here.
“This fall, Louisiana has the opportunity of a generation to elect reform-minded leaders up and down the ballot who stand ready to implement the policies outlined in LABI’s LA23—a strategic plan to position Louisiana as an economic leader in the South by the year 2030,” said Andree Miller, LABI’s political director. “Rep. Pressly has been a champion for commonsense legal reform, small business growth and opportunity for Louisiana. We are confident he will continue to advocate for bold reforms and help write a new chapter in our state’s future.”
Pressly has served in the House of Representatives since 2019 and serves on the Commerce, Health and Welfare, Judiciary and Joint Medicaid Oversight Committees. He is seeking to fill the senate seat being vacated by Sen. Barry Milligan, who recently announced he would not seek another term.
“I appreciate LABI’s North PAC support of my candidacy for Senate District 38. Northwest Louisiana needs a strong voice in the legislature to expand our economic footprint in the state,” said Pressly. “I look forward to working with LABI, other legislators, and the new administration to be that voice and deliver results for the Northwest Louisiana region.”
North PAC is a non-partisan political action committee working to recruit and support candidates who support the free enterprise market with as little government interference as possible.
