A longstanding shopping center in Homer is being auctioned off in July. is seeking local ownership

The center, located at 111 W Main Street, has trusted local businesses of more than 18 years like Homer Motors and Homer Seafood. A new discount grocery store, Firesale Grocery, is opening by July.

Brookwood Capital Advisors, a large disposition firm for commercial assets around the country, owns the shopping center and is orchestrating the auction.
