Higher education leaders from campuses around the south are among nine semi-finalists for the chancellor’s position at LSU Shreveport.
A search committee composed of community members, business leaders and campus representatives will interview the semi-finalists tomorrow and Wednesday. You can join the interviews in person or watch a livestream of the interviews each day. The committee will name the finalists after the interviews are completed Wednesday afternoon.
Here are the semifinalists:
- Russell Porter – Deputy Ethics Officer – Texas A&M University System; Vice President for Research and Economic Development – Texas A&M University-Central Texas
- Keith Elder – Provost and Executive Vice President – Mississippi College
- Gregory Ford – Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs – Southern University at New Orleans
- Felecia Nave – President – Alcorn State University
- Robert Smith – Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs – Valdosta State University
- Kimberly McLeod – Associate Vice President of Economic and Academic Development – Texas A&M University-Commerce
- Ernie Hughes – Vice President for University Advancement – Truman State University
- Teresa Orok – Vice President of the Board of Directors – University Economic Development Association; Executive Director, Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Development – Alabama A&M University
- Rodney Ellis – Campus Director-Longview – University of Texas, Tyler
