The Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana (PAR) is excited to host our next The PAR Perspective webinar, 2023 Legislative Session, on Friday, March 31, at 12:00 p.m.
Panelists Sen. Gerald Boudreaux, Chairman of the Senate Democratic Caucus; Sen. Page Cortez, President of the Senate; and Rep. Jack McFarland, Chairman of the Louisiana Conservative Caucus, will discuss and answer questions about the major issues facing lawmakers in the legislative session that starts April 10, the last regular session of this four-year term. This session has a focus on finances, with debates centered on the state’s annual budget and tax policy, but each lawmaker also can introduce five statewide bills that cover non-fiscal subjects.
