The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce is helping welcome Sailors back to Shreveport as Navy Week, the service’s signature outreach program, returns to the Shreveport-Bossier region.
Navy Weeks allow the U.S. Navy to showcase how they serve America at sea, in the air, and ashore, and will feature in-person demonstrations, performances, and engagements throughout the week of Mar 20-26, concluding at the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show with a performance by the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron.
The Greater Shreveport Chamber and partner, the Manufacturers Managing Council, are thrilled to present an exclusive opportunity to meet with Rear Admiral Dion D. English on Monday, Mar 20 at the Petroleum Club in downtown Shreveport. Check in is at 7:45 a.m. Register HERE.
Rear Adm. Dion English is a native of Monroeville, Alabama and Slidell, Louisiana and a graduate of LSU and was subsequently commissioned through the Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program at Southern University.
Rear Adm. English’s expertise is Logistics and he is currently assigned to the Joint Staff, Washington D.C. as Vice Director, J4 Joint Staff. Their mission is to lead the logistics enterprise, drive joint force readiness and provide the best logistics advice to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Over Breakfast, we will have the exclusive opportunity to gain his perspective on:
