Romph Pou Agency wins Best of Show at annual awards gala

Romph Pou Agency won Best of Show at the annual American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier awards banquet for its creative work on a partnership campaign between ICEE® and the 2022 film Nope. The campaign focused on the ICEE® Bear’s abduction by aliens. The campaign won a gold Addy in the cross-platform integrated campaigns in the consumer campaign category.

Romph Pou Agency won 28 Addys, including seven Gold Awards. The agency was awarded a gold Addy for a commercial it produced for Royal Purple®. “No Matter What Drives You,” earned top honors in the Film, Video and Sound – Television Advertising Single Spot Category.

The agency received two Gold Addys for its work for the Palm Beach Zoo. It earned a gold award for its Journey to Botswana Proposal and its Journey to Africa Gala Invitation. Romph Pou Agency picked up two Gold Addys for the Celebrate Cooking Magazine it creates for Brookshires. One gold award was for the Egg Nog 101 edition while a second Gold Addy was for the Howl-oween Party publication.

The agency’s Geaux 4 Kids Campaign also earned a Gold Addy in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. Geaux 4 Kids is a Louisiana non-profit that provides needed items, like diapers, clothes and toiletries for children placed in emergency foster care.

The entries that received Gold Addy’s will now compete at the district level which includes Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Romph Pou Agency’s other clients to receive Addys included Winstar World Casino & Resort, LSU-Shreveport, UT Tyler Health Science Center, Louisiana Downs Racetrack and Casino and Shreveport Regional Airport.
