CenterWell Senior Primary Care, one of the fastest-growing senior-focused and value-based primary care providers, is announcing the addition of board-certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Kay Nelson, to its center in Shreveport.
Dr. Nelson brings a profound understanding of the community to CenterWell, having cared for patients throughout Northern Louisiana for 26 years. Prior to joining CenterWell, Dr. Nelson worked at Willis Knighton Hospital System.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Nelson served patients at her rural clinic, Lakeside Family Medicine, where she successfully provided the area with much-needed, quality healthcare for nearly 12 years – and where most of her patients were over 65.
