Shreveport Mayoral Forums begin next week

The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce’s “Decision 2022” is all about the citizens of Shreveport who want what is best for the city and making the most informed decision when selecting who will be the next mayor for the City of Shreveport.

To dig deeper with each candidate, we will be hosting THREE mayoral forums on consecutive nights:

  • October 18, 9 pm at Louisiana State University Shreveport (Note NEW TIME)
  • October 19, 7 pm at State Exhibit  Museum (Note NEW LOCATION)
  • October 20, 7 pm at Southern University

The chamber is partnering with the area’s three largest TV stations: KTAL, KTBS and KSLA as well as LSUS and SUSLA. Each night will center around a different topic: Public Safety, Infrastructure, Economic Development.  By focusing on a specific topic at each Forum, the candidates will have more opportunity to tell us their specific plans for Shreveport in these three key areas.

There are no fees to attend the Forums; however, due to limited seating registration is required. When registering, please select which Forum you will be attending. A separate registration is required for each Forum you wish to attend, it will not count for all three nights. If you wish to attend all three nights, please register separately for each one.
