by BIZ Magazine

LEAD LOUISIANA leadership program is designed to educate, motivate and encourage participants to serve our local communities, the state of Louisiana, our country and the world.

A cohort of 25 Louisiana citizens will start sessions in September. Our goal is to provide a safe space for Black and Brown people to explore the issues and public policy facing our people in the state of Louisiana and to develop solutions together.

Participants who complete this new and innovative leadership program will be exposed to the best and brightest experts in their varies disciplines. Our discussions will lead to solutions that have challenged the state of Louisiana for decades. The goal of the program is to annually graduate citizens who are well equipped to address today’s concerns through a fair, equitable and diverse perspective. Graduates will be prepared to have leading roles in their respective communities

Applicants will be selected from throughout the state of Louisiana to mirror the diverse perspective and geographic differences that exist in our great state.

Organizers are encouraging emerging and seasoned leaders to apply to this program. Sessions will be held on weekends throughout the state of Louisiana for eight months, addressing hot topics such as, healthcare, education, economics, housing, criminal justice reform, and arts & culture.
