by BIZ Magazine

The Northwest Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center is partnering with the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce to present the Government Contracting Series for Entrepreneurs.

The free, weekly series will take you through the basics of winning government contracts and how to gain a competitive edge.

Series 2: “Introduction to Government Contracting,” will provide an overview of the many parts and pieces associated with doing business in the government marketplace and serve as a prelude to one-on-one counseling specifically focused on an assessment of each member’s needs and a confidential plan to support them.

The event will be held Aug. 9 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Office Hub, 331 Milam St., Ste 200 Shreveport.

Subsequent events will be held Aug. 18, titled “Small Business Certification: Your Competitive Edge,” and Aug. 25, titled “Marketing to the Government.” Both will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Office Hub.
