Citizens National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of David Madrid and Candace Dunigan.
David has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Compliance while Candace has been promoted to Vice President – Third-Party Risk Management.
David joined Citizens National Bank in 2014 managing the Compliance function as it evolved from a one person operation to a five person, multi-function department.
He previously served as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Compliance Master’s Group and is a former President of the Stephen F. Austin State University Alumni Association. David is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, as well as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2002 and graduated with Honors and Recognition of Leadership from the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU.
Candace joined the CNB team in 2017 as a Risk Analyst and Executive Assistant to the Chief Credit Officer. In 2020 she moved into a new role as the Bank’s Third-Party Risk Manager and has enjoyed learning about the operational aspects of the banking industry.
Candace was born and raised in Shreveport and has lived and worked in this area her entire life. Opportunities in various local and regional industries have provided Candace with valuable skills in project management, regulatory analysis, and customer service that she brought with her to CNB.
She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at her church, The Pentecostals of Bossier City. Candace received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Centenary College of Louisianan and her Master of Business Administration from LSU Shreveport.
