In April, you will find three bond renewals from Bossier Parish Schools on the ballot. These renewals are extremely important to our future – for our students, for our teachers, for our businesses and for our parish as a whole.
These renewals are exactly that – bonds to be renewed which pay for series for our school district staff and teachers as well as maintenance measures on the school buildings. These renewals will not cost you any additional money but will help us continue our parish’s reputation of excellence in public education.
The Bossier Chamber Board of Directors has written a resolution of support for these renewals and we encourage you to vote YES on those ballot measures on April 30, or April 16-23 for early voting.
We all know how stellar the Bossier Parish School District is and how important their success is to helping us recruit businesses and residents to call Bossier Parish home.
- The School District will host a town hall meeting on Thursday, Feb 17 at 5 p.m. at Bossier Instructional Center. Please come out and support the district and ask any questions you have about these renewals.
