Daily non-stop flights to Denver International

Airport Have Returned

United Airlines resumed offering their non-stop flights to Denver from Shreveport this morning.

Originally suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, United Airlines will operate the flight once a day with a 50-seat Embraer-145 regional jet. The nonstop flight first connected Shreveport to Denver in August 2012.

To mark today’s occasion, the Shreveport Airport Authority staff hosted a launch event before the first flight departed, which included breakfast snacks for the passengers and a cake shaped like a United Airlines aircraft.

“United is one of our great airline partners and we are so thankful they have resumed offering their non-stop flight to Denver for the Ark-La-Tex residents. We now encourage everyone in Shreveport-Bossier City and surrounding areas to support this flight,” said Stephanie Tucker, interim director of airports for the Shreveport Airport Authority.

The daily Denver flight will depart Shreveport at 7:25 am and arrive in Denver at 9:05 am local time. The return flight will leave Denver at 4:00 pm local time and arrive in Shreveport at 7:15 pm. The Denver hub offers passengers the opportunity to connect to more than 150 cities in the United network.

Tickets are on sale now at United.com. Fares start at $139 one way.
