Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC celebrates 75 years of service

SHREVEPORT, LA, October 21, 2021 – Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC (HMV) is proud to celebrate the firm’s 75th anniversary since its establishment in 1946 with the mission of building relationships and providing opportunities for their clients, people and communities. Both locations of the firm – Shreveport and Monroe – will be closed on Friday, October 22, 2021 to participate in a firm-wide volunteer day. Over 100 employees will volunteer at 10 different organizations for six hours.

To begin the celebration, the firm implemented a 6-month service initiative – HMV’s 75 Years of Giving to Continue Growing. Each month, there have been opportunities to serve the community ranging from donation drives to firm-wide volunteer activities.

Additionally, there has been a 10-week health initiative for employees – a 75-mile run/walk challenge – that will come to an end this Friday. An internal committee planned the service initiative based on employee feedback through a survey taken early in the year.
“For 75 years our firm has been committed to the North Louisiana communities, so we felt it only fitting to celebrate HMV’s birthday by rolling up our sleeves and joining forces with local non profits to make our area a better place,” stated Walker Coburn, Partner of Heard, McElroy & Vestal. “We have a generous and committed workforce who got behind our service initiative and we all had a lot of fun making an impact on the community in which we live, work, and play.”
