North Louisiana Economic Partnership hires two new development specialists

North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) is excited to announce the addition of Megan Delgado, Economic Development Specialist, and William Ford, Business Development Specialist, to their growing staff. These new positions will work with the Business Development department to increase the team’s success in bringing quality jobs and capital investment to the 14 parishes served by NLEP.

Megan Delgado

Most recently, Megan Delgado worked with Liberty Oilfield Services and Omni Specialty Packaging. Her background includes project development and quality control work. From her experience as a laboratory technician, she brings an analytical mindset and strong quality management skills to NLEP. Megan’s role focuses on project management under the leadership of NLEP Vice President of Business Development Strategy, Sheena Bryant, a Certified Economic Developer.

Megan earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX and a Master of Business Administration with a Project Management Concentration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Megan is currently working towards fulfilling the requirements to earn a Project Management Professional certification.

Will Ford

Will Ford joins NLEP after working as a Project Manager with Louisiana Economic Development (LED). During his time at LED, he managed projects that resulted in a total investment of $774 million and over 1,000 total new jobs brought to communities in Louisiana. Under the direction of NLEP President & CEO, Justyn Dixon, Will’s primary focus is business attraction and development through innovative strategy, effective network creation, and special projects.

Will earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Science in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. During his time there, Will graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded Outstanding Master of Science in Economic Development by the Economic Development Department Chair.

They both bring unique qualifications and career experiences to help us increase our ability to pivot and adapt with each project.”

Both Megan and Will bring an advantage to NLEP’s business development initiatives. Their education and experience are exceptionally beneficial as it amplifies the team’s ability to manage complex projects as they compete to bring jobs and investments to the region while enhancing a reputation for excellence among economic development professionals representing North Louisiana.
