Caddo Common Park’s Fall sponsored programing produced by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council in collaboration with Caddo Parks and Recreation will host another SRAC fun filled family afternoon; Sunday in the Park with Artist – Sunday, October 17, 2021 from Noon to 5:00 PM.
SRAC Featured artist include Humm Yoga Inc., leading YOGA in the park’s greenspace, along with Plein Aire Painting by Connie Eaton and Eric Francis, poetry by Poetic X our Caddo Parish Laureat, Dorie Laure and Alonzo Sheffield; and performances by Songbook of the South, Tanji Jefferson and our featured group Ron Hardy and the “Circle of Life Drum Gathering.”
Also featured will be Shreveport Green’s Mobil Market encouraging healthy living through community gardens and Steven Kennedy from Steve’s Snakeuary who will show rescued snakes and teach the public to respect their unique role in our world.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, families will have the opportunity to decorate our “PINK TREE” with ribbons in various colors and sizes as décor. Please take some time to come design a beautiful ribbon for yourself, friend or love one in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Last, we will host Erica Branch, Whitney Tate, Connie Eaton, Eric Francis, ML Dumas and “The BootKing” in our small Artist Market along with Thrifty Liquor and Mi Meza Latin Cuisine and more.
