WFA (formerly Williams Financial Advisors), a service-oriented, innovative wealth management organization, today announced sponsorship of and participation in the upcoming Yoga Farm Fest in Shreveport, September 24 – 26, 2021. This festival celebrates mind, body, and soul by promoting health, wellness, and community through yoga, music, food, drink, and sunshine.
This inspirational weekend is filled with many offerings, including yoga, meditation, hula hooping, SUP, live music, farm-to-table food, acupuncture, massage, and more – taking place in a beautiful outdoor setting (rain or shine).
In its fourth year, the event is being held at The Perkins Property, Matt and Charlotte Brown’s house located on 10660 Ellerbe Road in Shreveport, across from Ellerbe Baptist Church. Yoga Farm Fest* is open to people of all ages and fitness levels, and no prior experience is required.
“WFA is proud to sponsor this year’s Yoga Farm Fest because we believe a healthy lifestyle fosters optimal financial well-being,” said Dany Martin, MBA, Partner and Wealth Advisor at WFA. “The benefits of a daily practice focused on mind, body, and spirit cannot be overstated – not only do people live longer, but they also live better lives. Health equals happiness equals wealth essentially.”
“At WFA, we are advocates for healthy living, the daily practice of yoga, gratitude, and physical exercise,” said Chase Crump, CFPⓇ, Partner and Wealth Advisor at WFA. “Our purpose is to educate and empower our clients with the lifestyle tools and strategies needed to reach their financial goals without sacrificing health and well-being. We believe people are generally happier when healthy.”
Employers who focus on the value of a healthy lifestyle extend beyond just their workplaces. From providing employee wellness programs that help their workers maintain good health to being committed to protecting the environment, business leaders know the importance of creating a healthy environment for everyone.
“We see WFA and Yoga Farm Fest as an enduring partnership between our citizens and the community at large,” said Steve Carney, ChFCⓇ, Partner and Wealth Advisor at WFA. “Sponsoring this event helps to promote education, health, financial wellness and make it accessible, especially to people who need it the most.”
