GREATER SHREVEPORT CHAMBER SPRINGS FORWARD TO 2021 WITH ANNUAL MEETING

The Greater Shreveport Chamber will honor businesses at their 111th Annual Meeting Luncheon, presented by Willis-Knighton Health Systems. This year’s event will begin at 11:30AM at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

Join our community as we “Spring Forward” past the challenges of 2020. This past year has been a challenging year for many businesses in our community. Businesses pivoted and found innovative ways to remain open, while prioritizing the safety of customers during a worldwide pandemic. Others aided our community with novel approaches to ensure our neighbors were comfortable and out of harm’s way during one of the worst winter storms in decades. The Shreveport-Bossier community has shown us repeatedly they know how to adapt.

The Top Business Innovation Awards will recognize a number of these outstanding small businesses for their ability to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of these unprecedented challenges.

“Since Captain Shreve cleared the Great Raft, our region has been known for problem solving and finding innovative ways to adapt to changing circumstances”, said Dr. Timothy Magner, President of the Greater Shreveport Chamber. “This year we are delighted to be able to recognize businesses from our community who have met the challenges of the COVID pandemic and unprecedented weather events with grit and determination. Not just surviving but thriving through ingenuity and effort.”
