Brandgineers Purchase 1229 Texas Avenue

The Brandgineers, a team of dedicated, creative, compassionate, and focused marketing gurus, have found a new space to call home in the heart of downtown Shreveport. They will start the task of renovating the historic four-story 27,000 square foot 1229 Texas Ave building at the end of this month. It has been the home of several furniture stores over the years, including Brenners Furniture and Ivan Smith Furniture. Brandon Beard, President of the Brandgineers, said, “When we walked into this building, we knew right away that this was home.”

They are designing the first floor with the self-employed person in mind, specifically the new entrepreneur. Dream Developments, one of their non-profit passion projects, has one purpose – to help the aspiring entrepreneur take an idea from creation to implementation, branding, and ultimately profitability. Beard says, “We enjoy giving more than we receive. We have created an amazing mission, and this new home will allow us to continue with it.”

The Brandgineers will be able to invite others, besides those involved with Dream Developments, over to their new home too. They intend to also use the first level for a retail coffee shop and café. There will be an outside seating area with live music on weekends and monthly motivational speakers from all across the country. Beard continued, “Imagine a place where you have everything under one roof. Video Production, Audio Engineering, Legal Advice, Logo Design, Branding, Web Development, Banking, Graphic Design and so much more. That is what we are building. We call it an Entrepreneurs paradise.” The Brandgineers expect to be occupying the new space in Summer 2021. The plans for this building are still being prepared, but while the Brandgineers wait, they’ll continue on their mission of changing other’s lives.
