Ochsner LSU Shreveport welcomes Dr. Amorn

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport welcomes Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Dr. Allen Amorn. Dr. Amorn received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio and trained as an Internal Medicine resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He continued his training as a Cardiology Fellow at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles and completed his training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Amorn was recognized for his clinical care with the Excellence in Medicine Award by Mercy Health Physicians. His clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, palpitations, syncope, supraventricular tachycardia, and cardiac implanted electronic devices. Dr. Amorn is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at LSU Health Shreveport. Dr. Amorn began accepting patients December 1 at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport.
