The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce is postponing its 2021 Annual Meeting. The Chamber made the announcement via its weekly newsletter Monday.
Chamber President Dr. Tim Magner said the meeting will be rescheduled and is expected to be an in-person event.
“Given the success we had with a socially-distanced Athena event, we initially planned to have our Annual Meeting as scheduled in January,” Magner said.

“However, with the increase in cases lately and the fact that updated gathering restrictions are unlikely to be lifted by the event’s scheduled date, we felt it prudent to postpone. We haven’t determined our rescheduled date, but plan to finalize that next week.”
